Welcome to my site covering Kentucky beer cans.  My name is Jim and I'm an addict. I started collecting beer cans in 1975. There are easily ten's of thousands of can labels produced since 1935, the year beer was introduced in cans.  I collect only cans from breweries located in the great state of Kentucky. This decision has reduced the number of potential cans for my collection from 20,000+ cans to around 200+ cans. I say around 200+ because the number of cans at this moment is not known for certain. I will need your help to determine the actual number of variations of the thirty one  +  labels produced by Kentucky's seven breweries that canned beer. Please let me know by email jim@kybeercans.com if you have a can or label variation of a can that I may not know of. 

When I began collecting decades ago buying and selling cans was frowned upon. There may have even been a rule banning the practice by the BCCA ( www.bcca.com ) . Too much time has passed for me to remember now. Today money and collecting go hand in hand. If you have, or know of any Kentucky cans that you would like to see go to a nice home, please let me know.  I will treat your cans kindly and even pay to take them off your hands.
