Frankenmuth-Kentucky Brewing Co, Louisville KY
Operated from 1939 to 1942 in Lousiville Kentucky at 1445 South 15th Street. Very little information is available about the brewery or the cone top can. The brewery was in business for less than 4 years. One fact is certain, this is a very rare can and very few are known to exist.
If you know any information about the brewery or the conetop can please email me.
One of the best examples known to exist.

One theory on this can and brewery ..... The Frankenmuth-Kentucky Brewing Co ceased operations in 1942 the same year the goverment order all steel can production stopped. That is fact. The speculation is as follows: When WWII ended and the ban on can production was ended the brewing of beer was shifted to Michigan and the brewery used the left over cans from before the war. These "left over" cans still had the Kentucky information on the can. There have been cans found with the Kentucky Brewing information blacked out and the Michigan information added. The name on these cans is only Frankenmuth Brewing Company. What do you think?
